I’m a parent of a 7th grade parochial school student.  The students have been assigned a project to choose a book and discuss the book with the class without giving away the ending…as a means to “sell” the book and make their classmates want to read them. My son, Michael, chose your book Slacker. You have several that really appeal to him but we started with this one.  My son has never been a huge reader, however, he seems to really like your topics and he researched quite a few before deciding and getting approval.  Anyway, early in December he makes this presentation.  I was wondering if there was a way to have copies of your books donated to the 7th grade class at St Stephen the Martyr school as a way to encourage more students to read, relate and reflect.  Is this something that is even possible?  Thank you for listening. Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to hear about Michael choosing SLACKER for his project. I hope he'll also read the sequel, titled LEVEL 13.

I'm not able to distribute books. However, publishers often involve themselves in school projects. My publishers are Scholastic Inc. and Harper Collins, both located in New York City. You might try there, or perhaps the bookseller affiliated with St. Stephen might feel inclined to help.
