The forum has been doing well. Many people comment and leave posts and are very kind. I have been dutifully reading every single one of them but have a sincere lack of commentary for there is nothing wrong. Nothing wrong, and I have no questions to the point where I literally have no reason to make a post every day which I do truly hate. I check the forum at least twice a week. Sometimes more than one time a day. But guess what, Gord? I am on break! Happy thanksgiving break, since I already said happy thanksgiving! I am going on a trip, it may or may not be fun. I have to see my suspicious cousins again but its okay because I might get to see my adorable baby cousins. However, it will be cold. I am currently packing my bags but I am super tired. The worst part is we have to go to the Airport and the Airport is so crowded! But, we are going in the wee hours of the morning so it will be fine. I will tell you if I have fun on my trip. Recently there is not much fun to be had which I do not appreciate. I feel like I've been growing up and I'm not too big a fan of that, that means I'll have to get a real job. And go to college. I don't particularly want to go to college except to make a ton of friends. By the way, I may or may not have an interest in a boy, but that is very irrelevant. I got him to be my friend! He likes to read books. Honestly, I am just excited to be making a post on the Forum. Question time!

P.S. I turn 15 in exactly two weeks from now. That means, in exactly two weeks from now, which means the three bookplates you sent me will have been there for an entire year straight, uninterrupted, and looked at almost every time I look at my mirror will have been like that for a whole year. Jade, I answered every one of these last night, and managed to erase my message! So here it goes again.

1. Most relatable character, if you mean he relates to me, it would be Boots O'Neal. He's an observer rather than a doer.

2. I laugh at all of them, but the SWINDLE series got the most belly laughs, as I recall.

3. I sometimes read my stuff after publication. But mostly, I'm sick of it, and remember every word, having gone over it umpteen times to perfect and polish it.

4. Favorite pet character? I missed the word "pet" the first time around. Ouch! I don't think I do many pets. But OPERATION DO-OVER had a dog who was both dead and alive, depending on the stage of the hero's life you were at. Rufus was his name. And I was very happy to bring him back!

5. IS Ben amazing? I'm glad to hear it. I guess he's my version of a loyal and true friend.

6. I try not to reuse names. My characters get very real to me, and a name usually has a face and a history, and doesn't bear repeating. But hey, 100 books. I don't know if I've slipped up at all.

7. I have no idea how I name my characters, except that the name has to be right, whatever that means. It's important to me that my people go by the "right" names.

8. I have bits and pieces of notes everywhere, with stories and characters, and potential plots scribbled down. When it's time to pick a new topic, I go through them and choose one.

And that, finally, if I don't erase it by mistake, answers all that. Again, have a great trip and a happy Thanksgiving!

Oh, I reuse people, like Bruno & Boots, series people, and characters I like. Gunhold is sort of a ghostly non-person. So I guess you're right that he appears more than once.
