I want to write but I've been so busy recently! I miss it a lot... and I'm confused about a lot of things. I haven't even read a book for fun in like, five days! I want to get back to writing, but I don't know when to find the time; I'm busy with school and I have a ton of tests and quizzes. For one, I have a huge science test and a math quiz tomorrow (I'm not prepared for math at all!)

Advice on where to find writing time again? Hopefully the rest of this semester isn't that busy... I'm probably not going to take any more complicated classes if I can't find time to do what I love.

Hi Jade,

I understand how school can get in the way of writing. Here's a tip. If you don't have any free time to write after school, then try waking up earlier. It doesn't have to be a lot earlier than your usual routine, 30 minutes would be perfectly enough. That way, you can sit down and relax, not worrying about anything other than writing.

Another bit of advice: wait until exams are over and things aren't so busy. Or give up the reading for a short while to concentrate on your writing -- you do the same by putting your writing aside when you get into a good book, right?

It's all time management vs. having your cake and eating it too!
