I got a 57 on my history test.

57!!!!
I mean, my class average was 66, but STILL!

I get curve so its a 75, which is fine, but thats it. FINE.

I am happy that if I try my VERY HARDEST i can still get an A in the class at the end of the year.

It's really not your style to get grades like that, is it? You just found out what I found out when I was 15 -- that you can skate through in math and English on your brains, but history and geography are something different. You either know the facts about them or you don't. Ouch.

I think you're doing what most smart people do at one time or another -- you're trying to have it all, and at the same time. And it's a VERY hard thing to do. It really is part of living and learning.

And be glad you didn't go to my high school, where 60% was the passing mark, and anything less was, well, you know ... So save some of those blessings for yourself, OK? And slow down; life will wait for you, really. ---G---
