Hey Gordon Korman!! I cannot believe there is a forum where we can talk to you!!! That’s so cool!! I have loved your books since childhood!! I’m 29 now. I absolutely love Nosepickers From Outer Space!! I have all 4 books. And Masterminds is my other favorite series by you!!

I’ve been listening to a lot of audio dramas lately. Things like Six Minutes, and The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel. I highly recommend those by the way. I think you’d love them. I think your stories would thrive in that medium. A full cast audio drama (not an audiobook with a narrator). I would absolutely LOVE to hear Masterminds in that way!! Or a new story by you.

Have you seen the growth of the audio drama format in the last 10 years? Have you considered it for your stories, old or new?

What you describe is very interesting. So far, my books are done in audio, often with different narrators the way I tell a story from differing viewpoints. But I've never heard what you describe, an audio drama. It kind of sounds like a movie with no pictures, right? I'll have to investigate that.

Yes, like a movie with no pictures! But they’re created to be listened to only so they make sure the sounds tell you everything you need to know without visuals or narration. Definitely check some out and let me know what you think! If you do anything in the audio drama space I’ll be the first to listen!!

Of course!! No pressure at all!! I hope the things on your plate are things you enjoy. I like to know that the people who create art that entertains me are leading happy, healthy lives of their own!! So if you need a vacation or to take some things off of your plate, do it!! The world will keep turning, I promise!
