Dear Gordon Korman,

You might not remember me but I asked you that our books would make great movies. I just finished The Fort and it was amazing to learn a little bit of your backstory of your career. I was just wondering if you could come visit my school sometime. I am in a book club and they would love to meet you. I go to Villa Grove elementary school and I am in 6th grade. I would love for you to visit Villa Grove and meet our book club. It is good to talk to you again. Good luck on your book writing career :)

Thanks for posting and for your invitation to visit Villa Grove. I do a lot of traveling, visiting schools, libraries, and different conventions, so it's entirely possible that I'll be invited to Villa Grove one day. I especially like book clubs -- I was in one when I was a 6th grader and, as you know, I started writing the following school year.

I was so happy you came to visit my middle school today (Saco Middle School). You are my favorite author! I had one of your books in my bag (Restart). Unfortunately, I didn’t bring it to the assembly as I would have wanted to ask for a signing. Are you at any of the local libraries or book stores here in Southern Maine where I could have you sign my book?
