Hello, my name is Lilian, I’m in 5 grade and I’m doing a research project about you. I really enjoy reading your books, I’ve read Restart, Linked, Unplugged, Whatshisface, and Schooled. I’m in the middle of reading The Unteachables. So far my favorite is Whatshisface because Roddy was hilarious, and I like hearing how Cooper responds to Roddy in the same way he talks but in a kind of sarcastic way. I noticed in some of your books you changed the perspective of the narrator, in Restart, Chase is the narrator in one chapter then it switches to another character. What gave you the idea to do that? I have been researching and learning lots of things about you, and I cannot wait for your response!

Your question: switching narrators is a technique I've used for several years. It helps me describe a story and situation from all the characters' different viewpoints, which makes for a well-rounded tale. I'm glad you like it. It's becoming very popular with my readers.
