Dear Mr. Korman,

On behalf of our committee, I am pleased to inform you that Linked has been selected as an Evergreen Teen Book Award MS nominee for the 2024 cycle.

The Evergreen Teen Book Award is sponsored by the Washington Young Adult Review Group (WashYARG), a group made up of school and public teen services librarians from the state of Washington. This award was created to provide teens in Washington a voice in deciding the best literature published for their age group with its first award announced in 1991.

Each year books are suggested by librarians, teachers and students throughout the state. Our committee then narrows this initial list down to a field of ten for middle school readers taking into consideration genre, quality, and popularity. Librarians and teachers promote the contest in schools and public libraries throughout the year, encouraging students to read as many of the ten books as possible. Based on the votes of students in grades 6 - 8 a winner is usually chosen in April of each year.

The Evergreen Award nominee list for 2024 is a collection of fantastic titles popular with teens. We are delighted your book is part of the contest. Good luck and thank you for being an inspiration to our students.
