Dear Gordon Korman,

I am an average 8th grade girl from North Dakota who loves your writing. I enjoy your writing because it is funny and adventurous. I am curious, how did you get into writing? My favorite book has to be masterminds. It started out light but as it got towards the middle they found out all they were is a project and the escape was definitely a page turner. It was just so exciting, climactic, and adventurous which I love about your writing because it seems to be the common theme. will there be more books? A close second place book is restart. It was so detailed and was well written for children so it is easy to read. It was also the very first book of yours that I have read. That's when I decided that you were my favorite author.

I got into writing in 7th grade in answer to an English project to write what our teacher called "a novelette." The result of my efforts was a 100+-page story I called BRUNO & BOOTS. When it was published, the title became THS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL. That was over 100 books ago, and I've been at it ever since.

I enjoyed reading your books because they are mostly fictional and adventure books. The reason why I started reading your books was that they are easy to understand and comprehend. I also loved one of your series which was the Kidnapped series. When I read the first book in the series, it was already interesting that I read all three books to find out the end. You are one of my favorite authors because your books are just the right topic for me to read. Keep up the good work!

I note especially that KIDNAPPED made a hit with you. Actually, KIDNAPPED was the 3-book sequel to ON THE RUN, which is the basic Falconer story. It's a 6-book series that starts with CHASING THE FALCONERS. Suspense guaranteed, and also a rounding out of the characters from KIDNAPPED.

I hope you'll want to read many more of my books. I'm up over 100 now, so you won't be running out of material any time soon!
