RyanHi Gordon Korman, I'm doing a literacy fair project, but I don't know what inspired you to write Ungifted. Please respond before tomorrow its almost due!!!

Cutting it close, are we?
UNGIFTED was a plot I came up with when I wanted to show how an ordinary person has gifts too, just not the same ones an intellectually gifted person has. But hey, most writers don't require what you call "inspiration" to do our work. All it takes, really, is an idea, a story we want to tell. That's enough to get the creative juices flowing! The story just comes to us.
