Thank you! 11 more days of school left! I’m also going white-water rafting on Saturday, have you or any of your book characters even done that? I think I noticed the glitch. I appreciate you apologizing though it really isn’t your fault. I have made and do make so many posts on here I don’t keep track of what you have and haven’t responded to. It’s only taught me that sometimes there just aren’t words to say, you know? I know you appreciated what I had to say even if you didn’t respond. If it’s not on purpose, it still taught me a lesson about life, that I don’t always need words to respond

Fun fact, I would like some advice. Should I pursue the cool stuff to know in life? Today my mom told me something cool about me is that I know a bit about everything. It’s because we saw a fox today (they’re actually very tiny). Is knowledge cool? Talents? Hobbies? Is it cool to know how to speak eight languages? Or to do the Flamenco and Irish jigging? (I want to learn both of them)

I imagine you know a lot about everything because of all the research you’ve had to do. Speaking of, I’m very excited to finally finish editing my book this summer. And that means I can start writing ANOTHER book! How exciting!

I can not WAIT until MIXED UP releases! I’m pre-ordering it ASAP.

My advice for moving forward. Your Mom is right! Don't change a thing! Your mercurial inquiring mind is wonderful!

I hope MIXED UP makes a hit with you. You once worried that THE FORT might be a little sad. Well, MIXED UP might be a little sad in places -- advance warning. But I promise you the required amount of laughs, plus an odd story.

P.S. You have to stamp your feet very hard and in rhythm to do a creditable Flamenco. I once saw Jose Greco, who may have been the greatest Flamenco artist of all time. He stomped non-stop.

I have no idea. I feel like purplewater rafting would be cooler. Maybe violet, or viridian, or vermillion! It is kind of scary but so is life.

Thanks! Curiosity is a gift that takes skill to wield. I don’t think I’ve honed in on that skill yet but I’m working on it!

THE FORT was really sad! That only added to its beauty. Some things you said about it made me start to see the world in a different way. Maybe I would give my friends a chance. Maybe not. I am super excited for MIXED UP, I have a feeling that’s gonna be the kind of book that really resonates with me. Laughs and an odd story? That’s my kind of story.

That’s cool. And that’s great for me! I step pretty loudly in general. Stomping is a lot easier than walking because I know even better where I am going by hearing it.
