hi I’m a huge fan of your book restart I’ve read it a few times and I think it’s a amazing book but I’ve always wondered about chases life before he got amnesia I know we get small details in the book but it doesn’t get a lot so I guess what I’m asking is have you ever thought about making a second book to restart about his life before the fall

Good point. Look for MORE RESOURCES, and click on SHORT FICTION on this site. There's a story that could have been part of RESTART called "Secrets of Splat Night." It can give you a better idea of what Chase is like now, and what he used to be like, based on the bahavior of his two best buddies.

I don't think I want to write about Chase before his fall. One of the reasons he's popular is that the readers root for him. I don't think anyone would root for an ill-mannered bully, which is kind of what he used to be. Agree?

And just the fact of what he was a part of -- SPOILER ALERT -- stealing the Medal from an old soldier -- should describe him well enough -- a pretty nasty dude before is accident.

CLASS LETTERS

ADDISON CLARY -- It's my business to come up with stories like RESTART. I have 102 books out at the moment, and had to "come up with" every single one of them! It's what I do for a living, so I'd better be good at it, right?

TYLER BOLT, there is a film company that bought the rights to RESTART. If a movie gets made, it will be from them, not me. I write books. Film people make movies. So let's keep a good thought and maybe Chase will make it to the silver screen!

RAHI PATEL -- the parents would not even have known what takes place at school unless the school complained. And I believe the book hints at the fact that the school would never complain about a star football player, and even the Dad thought he was "high-spirited."

LILLIE -- By now you must be at the en of the book, so it's OK for me to tell you yes, Chase gets his memory back.

LAYLA -- And that was the whole point of the story -- Chase was a bully, had an accident and turned into a nice guy, and was given a second chance by his community.

OK? Sorry to keep you waiting, people. I've had a ton of mail lately, and it's hard to keep track of everybody, especilly whole classes. But here I am, and I thank you for your support for my book.
