Dear Gordon Korman,

I think you should know that you're my favorite author. The first book that I read of yours was the On the Run series. My favorite part was always where they wacked the taxidermed fish into his head. However, my favorite book of all is Linked. I told my sister that any time she's ever in a bookstore she should get me any Gordon Korman book she ever sees, and I'll figure out how to pay her back. She got me that one and I loved it. My neighbor also has your books and we enjoy trading each others books and he also really liked it. Also random question on your books: In Unplugged, Ivory hypnotizes with a blue light. Isn't that a contradiction to The Hypnotists because there they use their eyes and not blue lights?

Also, I just turned bar mitzvah, just like Link, so I would love to ask you for a bar mitzvah wish. Can I have a signed plate for Linked?

Also random question. How do you write books so fast? It seems like every five seconds a new book from you comes out. How long does it take you to write them?

Your questions: There are various ways to accomplish placing someone in a trance. It should be noted that the abilities described in THE HYPNOTISTS are kind of exaggerated, meaning I made that stuff up. But hypnosis itself is real. And I have 102 books out with the recent release of MIXED UP. But it only seems like they appear every few weeks. In fact, I've been publishing since I was 12, and that was over 45 years ago! Believe me, it took some time to write it all!
