I read ungifted a little while ago. I was wondering how they hacked into the computer? Could the school not see that?

Good question. Remember, this is The Academy. The students demonstrate not just talent, but brilliance. They can manage a little matter like the hacking, and also hide the fact that it's going on. Besides, no one would even dream that there might be a hack interrupting their testing process, so they wouldn't be on the alert for it..
