I loved this book! It was my introduction to Gordon Korman and I got it in my stocking some 40 years ago. It turned me on to the world of Gordon Korman. And while I have a fairly large collection that survive, alas Bugs fell victim to a flooded basement.

Now, it is my daughter who is the Gordon Korman fan. We have gone through all of my Bruno and Boots. She saw “Live at Nickaninny” on the shelf. So when I told her about Bugs we immediately decided to see if we could track a copy down.

Any ideas here forum?

Thanks for posting and for being a longtime fan and raising another!

I wish I could be more help. WHO IS BUGS POTTER has been out of print for a long time, and I don't see any signs of the publisher (Scholastic Canada) wanting to re-release it.

It may be in eBook form -- Kindle, or the Canadian one, Kodo.

Scholastic Canada is at 1-800-268-3860. And if you're in Canada, the big bookseller is Chapters Indigo -- chapters.indigo.ca Good hunting.

After checking out Gord's recommendations, I'd suggest looking at used bookstores and thrift stores in your area. I did see a Bugs the other day when I was out looking but can't remember if it was "Who Is" or "Nickaninny". So they're out there and you may get lucky. I'm still trying to complete my collection... about 17 left to go!

You've been my favourite author since we read an excerpt of 'This Can't Be Happening At MacDonald Hall' in Grade Four, and I am 48 now :). It is my lifelong regret that I never got to meet you when you toured Saskatchewan libraries in 1991 because I was sick with mono. Thanks for all your wonderful work! Your books have been a touchstone of humour, comfort and Canadiana in my life. My question is whether Bugs Potter was inspired by Neil Peart? Bugs' drumming skills certainly seem up there with the great Mr. Peart :). Thanks again!
