Christine KDear Mr Korman,
Many decades ago (we don't need to count), I ordered a bundle of books from the school book club. I Want to Go Home was one of them. That book ended up so ragged and tagged because I would read it so often, chortling and snorting and laughing aloud. I lost it along the way but as soon as my son turned 7 I bought a new copy and read it to him! Together, we laughed til we cried, and it's one of my favorite memories as a mama.
I have gone on to be a storyteller and always try to inject humor into whatever I do, as I learned from you!
Just wanted to tell you that we never know who we reach and who we inspire with the creativity we put out into the world…so thank you!

PS I still use “All cloned from the same master cell” as a go-to phrase…to funny!!!
