You came to my elementary school Juliet Low Elementary back in 1987-88…spoke to my class in the library about your new book.. Zucchini Warriors. Don’t know why I remember that like it was yesterday. You had all your hair back then.. lol. You must’ve been 20 something years old…then my class teacher assigned us to read your entire book in a week… Then write an essay about each chapter. lol.

I'll bet you looked a lot younger back then too!

I would have been 24 or 25, depending on the time of year. Sigh.

I see that you are coming to a book fair at my kids' former elementary school this Sunday (all 3 have already graduated). Well, I remember having you visit MY elementary school in London, Ontario, probably in about 1985? I think I have signed copies of a book somewhere! Wow.

I see that you are coming to a book fair at my kids' former elementary school this Sunday (all 3 have already graduated). Well, I remember having you visit MY elementary school in London, Ontario, probably in about 1985? I think I have signed copies of a book somewhere! Wow.
