I know this is a forum for your books and you but i'm going through a breakup and I need someone to talk to. As a man, I feel like I have to push my feelings down until I don't feel them anymore. My girlfriend of 16 months recently broke up with me because she "didn't have feelings" anymore. How do I deal with this? This is my first big relationship and it hurts so much.

Not exactly my field of expertise.

You sound pretty young, and my only advice is to accept it and move on. Once we pass the age where our family smooths the way for us, things go through rough and smooth parts. You will get over it, even though it feels like you won't. Smile!
