It's hard. Obviously. Got any motivation for the starving, aspiring writer? (Is it aspiring author, because I'm aspiring to be an author, or aspiring writer, though I do write?)

Yes, it's aspiring. The basic motivation, Jade, is having something you just have to tell about, demonstrate, insist on, etc. It's almost a compulsion. My secondary motivation was helping to feed and educate 3 kids. Having something to say helps, of course.

I'm sure you know all this. And I'm also sure you aspire to a lot of other things. And with your natural zest and attitude, you\re going to do a lot of it -- maybe even all of it! --G--
