Dear Gordon Korman,

My name is Emely and I'm a 7th grader in middle school. I just finished reading your book Swindle and I really liked it!

I can relate to Luthor because I have the same personality as Luthor. I was surprised when Griffin got the skate park. I was happy when Swindle moved to another state. I was very angry when Swindle tried to rob the kids' money. I really liked the ending of the story.

I was wondering how you got the idea for all of your books? What is your favorite book that you wrote? Will you be writing any other books in the future? I really enjoyed reading your book and can’t wait to read more books that you wrote!

It's hard to pick a favorite among my books. I'm usually the most "into" the recent releases. So I guess that makes my current "favorite" SLUGFEST, which is my newest book. And I admit I'm very proud of the SWINDLE series, and of my Book #100, called THE FORT.
