Dear Gordon Korman,

I am an 8th grader in middle school. We just finished your book swindle. I think that the book was good. I liked how Palomino moved to California and was exposed. I have a question: why did Griffin not get to keep the baseball card? I was sad about Darren not being able to keep the money. Also I have another question: How long did it take you to write the book? Thank you for writing the book. I hope you make more in the future.

Thanks for your interest in me and my work. I'm glad SWINDLE went over so well with you and the class.

Griffin didn't get to keep the card because it belonged to the elderly,person who owned the old house the card was found in. It wasn't Darren's and it wasn't Griffin's either. It took about 5 or 6 months to complete the book. As for more in the future, I just released a book called SLUGFEST -- it is Book #103. So if it's my work you want, you won't be running out of reading material any time soon. But thanks for the encouragement, Bryce. -----Gordon Korman-----
