Hello,

I am a 4th grade teacher in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and we just read Unplugged. My kids are close to staging a coup because every other novel we have read this year has a movie adaptation... (Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing, Shiloh, Because of Winn Dixie, The BFG, Holes etc). (I hope the gist of my jest lands in text :) )

We are wondering if this book could be a movie anytime soon?

Great idea! Know any filmmakers?

Glad to hear that the class enjoyed UNPLUGGED. As you might imagine, it was fun to write, too. My only complaint about the book came from a Florida class. They said, "Hey, who wouldn't know Needles was a baby alligator?" Actually, a lot of people were surprised about that!

Yes, I hope we get a movie. But so far no film people have come forward for it. So let's all keep a positive thought and maybe something good will happen!
