Hi, been a fan of Ungifted and Supergifted since COVID now. My biggest wish in life would be to see another book as a continuation of their world. What do you say are the chances of that happening?

YES! I was looking through forums, and the day i post this, is march 17 2024, i found this, 4 days before! “Hyper gifted “ would be awsome! I got some titles like “crazy-gifted” And more, but story: Donavon curtis and the robotics team goes war against the high school team (kinda like slacker with the pag v s friends of fuzzies) and they create MULTIPLE robots to take down the high school team, which would be cool, and it would be cool if noah goes friday night smack down and does stunts, or another plot: there’s the robot world championships, and they have to make a team of robots to battle, (like pokemon) and in the end they win, or lastly, they go on a field trip to a robot museam, but get lost in the wild, and have to use their smarts and their robot to survive. Titles: (story 1: Crazy-gifted) (story 2: real-gifted) (story 3: Wild-gifted)

Wow, you're asking for a lot from one author! I don't make movies or TV shows -- that's up to film companies who buy the story rights from me. Also, I don't know if there will be a SLACKER #3. I haven't planned one, but I wouldn't rule it out either. And you will get a "GIFTED #3," but you have to give me enough time to get it written.

I don’t think Ungifted could be made into a movie just because of the lack of “action” Sure, it is an amazing book, but, for example, Donovan Curtis hiding in ASD from the Superintendent only really gives suspense written And, how will the characters describe their feelings? I think The POV method Mr. Korman uses simply cannot be put on a screen.

But that’s only two parts of an entire book. Yes, important, but if both of those parts last 20 min, That’s only 40 min of real action happening. (I’m not saying Ungifted is a boring book, I’m just saying a movie of it would be rather bland and rather boring)

In middle school I found Restart and really, really loved it as well! Are you planning to write a sequel to that series? Also I would love to be a writer as well!! Did you go to college for writing?

Your questions: I haven't planned a sequel to RESTART. but I definitely wouldn't rule one out. The book has been hugely successful. As for becoming a writer, when I got to college, I already had 4 or 5 books to my credit. I wrote the first one, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL, as a 7th grade English project. With the recent publication of SLUGFEST, I now have 103 titles out there, 3 more in the queue, and I'm working on HYPERGIFTED, which will be #107. It all sounds unreal, even to me! (Of course, I'm not 12 any more!)
