Hi Gordon Korman,

My Name is Edwin. I have listened to your Forest of Reading book, The Fort.

 The Fort is an excellent book because some parts just amazed me like when CJ brought his mom to protect them from his abusive stepfather Marcus, (Marcus seems very chill and fun but meanwhile, he has a dark side) I was surprised when Marcus got twisted into his bad side. It's like the saying never judge a book by its cover. You took something from a shelter that was meant for war but changed it into a safe shelter for CJ and his mom. Even though it could make the boys  lose their secret fort and they had to break a rule to help CJ,

I also liked it when the four boys had to upgrade security because of two nosy older bullies named Luke and Jager. I know what it's like to upgrade security because my house got robbed (unfortunately).

I liked it when you changed the perspectives per chapter because it opened a perspective from another character. Our Librarian aka the teacher for Forest of Reading said that sometimes you can have a window/door/mirror to another character. You should read the book called  Because of  Mr.Terupt. By Rob Buyea because every chapter is a different perspective like The Fort.

I also have read another book of yours called The Unteachables.  I think The Fort is even better than The Unteachables.
