Dear Gordon Korman:

I am just a middle school kid, but your book “Restart” is probably one of the best things I have ever read. It is the first book that makes me mad to even set down for a second. Your format by showing multiple people’s POV and thoughts over other characters really brings out the thought and ideas put into such a book. It brings out the power of the characters and the plot. I truly hope you use that format again in the future. It made me love to read books, and It made me realize reading is fun. And I truly thank you for it,

Thanks for posting. I'm glad to note that RESTART made such a big hit with you.

With the recent publication of SLUGFEST, my list is now 103 titles long. So if it's my stuff you enjoy, you're not going to run out of reading material any time soon! As for the technique of changing narratives, I'm glad you noticed that and approved of it. I use it quite often. I find it gives a more rounded effect for both story and characters.

Pick a favorite among my books? That's like picking a favorite among my 3 kids! It can't be done. BUT I do have a soft spot for THE FORT, which was Book #100 on my long list. And, of course, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL, which was my very first some 40+ years ago.
