    While we are waiting for FAKER to come out, we should do another book club on one of his best books, Restart. Even if you have already read it, “Good readers always reread” -My teacher. If you would like to do a different book, just say.

    Restart would be a good one--it's easy to find or borrow and is (I think) GRK's most popular book. (Unless one of the 39 Clues books officially beats it.)


    Another excellent choice might be I Want to Go Home. Especially later this summer when it will feel most apropos.

    My school librarian has a Restart copy. I could borrow it and renew it while we are having the book discussion. If it continues past school, (May 30) I can probably find a copy floating around. Their everywhere.


    And good idea Marlo. What’s the point in waiting around for Faker when we can do books that already came out?

    Cool! But, could we wait some time? It's fine if y'all decide to start, but in the previous book clubs we've given everyone two weeks to get a copy of the book and to read it. It also gives us time to convince others to join/to spread the word. Personally, I'm extremely busy in the next two weeks so I wouldn't be able to participate until the two week mark. (It's exam season.) I also haven't read RESTART in four or five years.

    I am down for either book, but preferably Restart because I already have a copy and can't find a free version of I want to go home.
    Two weeks is good, but for me it is best to start in june because this month is too busy with finals and other events.

    Maybe we could do it after school is done and then we could do 2 chapters a day, because it’s made for younger grades.

    Hm... well, I hope that party is super fun. Maybe we can change the day to May 31st, or June 2nd. How about we just plan for the book club to start that weekend? (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) I'm free on either day, but I'm very excited to do this!
    We've confirmed that the book we're reading is Restart, right? Because if yes, I'm whipping out my new copy of it and reading it today or tomorrow. Can't wait to do this with you guys! :D

    Oh my gosh! I just picked up RESTART today and was reading it because I was bored--I'd totally forgotten how funny that book is, and how funny Gord can be! I finally stopped reading after getting halfway through it. Maybe I should save the second half for myself right before the book club, but since it's just under a week away, I think I'm good. :D Are y'all gonna reread it? If yes, have you started?
