Dear Gord,

Holy guacamole! I haven't said anything significant/huge (except that one message) in such a long time. What has it been? A little over a month! Goodness gracious, I apologize for that. But I'm finally (almost) free! I've had so many tests and quizzes and events. I had to get through my AP exam, Cheer tryouts, my science test and my math quiz yesterday and today. Now, I finally only have two things left, my Spanish final and my English final (an essay). After I finish my Spanish final I'll be totally free. And I can finally start editing!

Believe it or not, I have two days of school left. Friday and Monday. It does not feel like it since I've been so busy working and studying and practicing or whatever and it still hasn't sunk in that summer is two business days away. My passions. My freedom. My editing is so close. It's just kind of crazy to me! Two business days and I won't even be a sophomore anymore. I'll be... a junior. Woah.

Now I'm at the final stretch. Just studying for my Spanish final, and I'll be free. Finally, finally free to do whatever I want! See you soon.

Hi! Glad to hear that (relative) freedom is so close. I've been free too, visiting my folks up inToronto. It was a see Mom and Dad and go to the Ontario Library Assoc awards visit. And not only did I go, but I even walked off with first prize, The Red Maple Award for THE FORT. That, which is a kids' choice prize. plus some real home-cookin' made it a great visit.

The website has gotten away from me a little, but I love it. That's exactly what I wanted -- for my readers, and prospective writers, to meet and share ideas on this site. It couldn't be better! (Plus they mention me once in a while!)
