Jordan HuttI was curious about the inspiration behind The Juvie Three. I have read a lot of your books like Unplugged, Restart, and The Juvie Three and just really wanted to know what the why is behind the story.

Good question. I haven't the slightest idea. It was just a story that came to me while I was brainstorming about what to write next. If I had to guess, I'd suggest it was the concept of second chances, which appears in RESTART quite strongly. Not that I'm a proponent of "everybody goes free no matter what they've done" concept of today. Plus I note now that, in "Juvie," one kid was the truly good one, and the other two might just as easily have reverted to type. Hmmm. I'll have to give that some thought.
As I said, good question. -----Gordon Korman-----
