Hello Gordan Korman,

My name is Leah and I am in 3rd grade.

You recently came to my school Wampus and did a 3rd grade assembly and talked about your great books.

I got inspired to make one but I am a little bit young to write my own book

so I am just reading your great books. My favs are swindle an restart. I am also excited for the new book faker

to come out so hopefully I will be the first one to buy it!

Dear Gordon,

It was about 40 years ago I read This can't be happening at McDonald Hall and the universe finally made sense. I can never thank you enough for getting me through the pre-high school years. Bruno and Boots were my best friends. Living in a school full of bullies is tolerable if you have a school in your mind you can retreat into. You will always have my eternal gratitude. Dave

I'm really pleased that you equate survival of the early years with my first book. (I hope life wasn't THAT bad!) Thanks so much for remembering! I now have 103 books in print and more on the way -- in case you run into any more bullies.
