In another post, @Jade asked about the official collective noun for "fans of Gordon Korman." And that's a great question: What SHOULD we call ourselves?

I'd like to rule out a few names:
- Gordon Korman's Fan Club is accurate but uninspired.
- The Korman Fandom has some flair but just feels clichéd.
- The Kormanites has a sort of religious, sort of cultish vibe.
- The Korman Klub (or The Korman Krew) is historically problematic.
And I'll offer these as contenders:
- The Kormaniacs is easy to understand: We are participants in the mania about the works of Gordon Korman.
- The Korman Squad is a nod to The Twinkie Squad (and is so much better than calling ourselves "Twinkies").
- The FOG (Fans of Gordon) is fun and a bit mysterious.
- The Korman Corpsmen is astoundingly meta, and maybe the most intellectual. (Look up the correct pronunciation of "corpsmen" if you don't know it; one audio example is here: YOUTUBE LINK.)
What other options can you all think of?

Those are all quite good, Raymond.

The Korman Corpsmen appeals to my love of language play. It is a little lengthy though and has the appearance of being exclusionary, even though I know that's not the intent.

Korman Squad could be the best reference to a GK work. Certainly beats being in a group called the Nose Pickers.

I'll see if I can come up with anything once I'm more caffeinated.

In a poll on Twitter (here), "Kormaniacs" is in last place and "the Korman Corpsmen" has held a small but steady lead.

While here at the Forum, it seems like Kormaniacs is the clear winner. (Due in no small part to @Jade's impassioned plea against "The FOG" (here).)
