For GK books, I'm partial to the Bugs Potter series and No Coins, Please. I do need to read more of his recent works. The ones I have read are really good but they won't have that touch of nostalgia that his earlier works have with me. Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide series is another favourite. There are some authors that I want to read all the works of: Korman, King, Kotzwinkle, Grisham, Adams, Vonnegut and Zindel among others.
I haven't read much this year due to a hand injury at the end of last year and, lately, just trying to find time for it. I hope to get back into it soon.

I've read all the newer Gordon Korman books.

FAKER has to be one of my favorite Gordon Korman Books.

So lately I've been reading Gordon's older books.

Like The On The Run series, Everest series, Book 1 of the Island series, Macdonald Hall Book 1, and even Running Back Conversion: I was Barry Sanders

The old books of Gordon's are GOOD.

The newer books are slightly better since they have more technology in them.

But the old ones are still REALLY GOOD!

P.S. Have You ever read Hatchet by Gary Paulson and 96 Miles by J.L. Esplin? Here, it's really good, Gordon's books are even better than Hachet still though.

P.P.S. You should read Running Back Conversion; I was Barry Sanders. Eben though its one of Gordon's shortest books, it's really good!

Here are some more book recommendations:

Shadow Jumper by J.M. Forster is a really good book, the writing is similar to some of Gordon's books.

Zane and the Hurricane by Rodman Phil Brick is also a good one, although it is a lot shorter than Gordon's Books.

Gordon: What books do you read that are similar to the books you wright?

    Hi, Ethan,

I don't really read much middle grade stuff because it's so much a part of my everyday life. But I do keep track of Jack Gantos and Jerry Spinelli's work. My own favorites are any of THE HITCHHIKERS GUIDE TO THE GALAXY series and the complete works of Kurt Vonnegut, which are not to be missed. Start with THESIRENS OF TITAN.                                 ---GK---
