Ione and Liza

Hi my name is Liza I'm a fifth grader at BLoom Elementary. One of my closest friends and I are interested in emailing you about The Super Teacher Prodject we chosen out of a selection of books for an elective, were making a podcast talking about what we think, what could happen to the charecters after the book, and just something I wanted to say was I love how the perspectives in the book change. I love how it shows different ways of thinking from the characters it really enhancest the story and gives a full view I'm amazed and love all your stories. We have a few questions for you. Are you worried about AI taking over or are you happy about robots maybe getting introduced to education? What was your inspiration for your book The Super Teacher Prodject? Do you have any enspuration for the names of charectures pursunaly for me when I write story's it's difficult to find names to perfectly suit my charectures.

Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to hear that THE SUPERTEACHER PROJECT went over so well with both of you. I hope you'll go on to read many more of my books. There are 104 of them now, so you won't be running out of reading material any time soon!

Your questions: In education, I definitely prefer people over robots. I'm not worried about AI "taking over," as you put it. Here's how you should be thinking aboutAI: It can't think or feel;

It can only mimic and steal.

My books, including THE SUPERTEACHER PROJECT, are the result of a lot of thinking and plotting. Maybe people think it's all inspiration, but the real truth is that it's just work. It's work that I love, yes. but it IS hard work.

Names of characters -- it's funny you should ask that, because it can be a real issue for me. I can't write about someone if he or she has what I consider the "wrong" name. I work very hard for the name to suit my character. I have no idea how I know when I hit upon the "right" name, but I do know. And I guess you do too!
