Hello, good afternoon!

Hope you are doing well. Please accept my inquiry on behalf of Salado Middle School in Salado, Texas. It is my pleasure to represent Salado Education Foundation, which provides grants to Salado ISD educators. A Salado Middle School teacher recently submitted a grant proposal to read Restart as part of the One book, One school initiative. There will be over 600 students in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th participating in this event. Due to the increased number of inquiries, we can award $1000 towards her proposal. However, we are limited in our ability to provide additional funding. As a pilot reading program, the $1,000 would support a single grade level. As a smaller district (4A) representing a rural area of Texas, we are growing rapidly. This is an exciting opportunity and we would like to inquire about the possibility of purchasing additional books at cost or through a donor program. Likewise, I am interested in finding out more about school appearances. As a school, we are interested in learning more about the possibility of hosting you for all students following the completion of reading the book. We greatly appreciate your time and thank you very much for it.
