EllaHi Gordon!
I am currently in the planning stage of my book and realized that one of my characters has a bit (almost double) more chapters than the rest of my characters. (this is just in Act 1/ part 1) This character however is the "main" character. I wanted to know your thoughts do you think this would possibly annoy or bore the readers?
For perspective my other characters have 4 chapters of varying lengths whereas this character has 6 chapters which are more lengthy. Thank you for your help!

It's been my experience that the main character in a story gets a lot more pages than the minor characters. After all, the story is about him, and what he does, as the main character, will move the story along. You still have to ask yourself if you're neglecting the minor characters a little, or perhaps elaborating too much on the main guy. That's always an issue. But remember -- the person you write to please is, first and foremost, yourself.
