Hi, Mr. Korman!

My friend and I are big fans of your books! One of the many we love is Operation Do-Over.

We were just talking, and he brought up Ty and Mason's Non-Ava treaty. They ended up swearing on Rufus. When the treaty was broken, Rufus ended up dying, and we believe these events were connected.

Was this on purpose?

YES! You're right! Rufus was just one of the prices paid for breaking the treaty. It was done to add to the guilt Mason feels for breaking the Non-Ava Treaty.
