    I'm curious if anyone here wants to join me for a reading of a forgotten Gordon Korman book: Maxx Comedy. This is a book that was largely passed over. I've read it once, many many years ago, don't recall much of the plot, other than I didn't like it that much. It's also rarely if ever mentioned in the forum. But I'm ready to give it a second chance. Unlike previously read books which were either new or popular, I say we give this forgotten book a try. What do you guys say?

    Mine just got delivered! If you want to give it a shot, it's on eBay used for less than 4 bucks delivered. Or a new hardcover for a little over six.

    It was alright, just a little jarring in tone shift when I re-read the Son Of The Mob books and Jake, Reinvented on either side of it.

    The fact that you managed to find a copy somewhere -- anywhere! -- is amazing enough. I think that's what is keeping December's Book Club a little quiet. Not my favorite, but not my least favorite either!                            --GK--
