    Dear Gordon Korman,

Hello, my name is Kevin and I live in south carolina but originally from California. I have recently read your book “POP” and I wanted to give you feedback and explain to you how much I loved reading your book.

First off I really enjoyed how you started the book off in the first paragraph by explaining a normal day in highschool for Marcus. And I like how Marcus and Charlie met. Marcus and Charlie seemed to get along very well and also pull pranks, just like the pest control part.

I knew I’d enjoy reading your book and my mind brought me to it in the middle of a library and I knew that it would be the one. I played as a linebacker at lakewood highschool in my 9th grade year so football really entertains me.

My overall thought of the book is that it is a great choice for people who may or may not play football but it is a great book. It hit me towards the end when charlie commited suicide, but it was ending his suffering so he is in a better place. I will make sure to refer the book to friends I know and family. Your book changed my mindset a bit by showing me to spend as much time together with friends and family because anything can happen at anytime.

Thank you for your time and appreciation if you get a hold of this letter. I was hoping there was a movie for this book because of how good it was but maybe soon one will be made.

    Sincerely, Kevin

    Hi, Kevin

Thanks for posting. I'm glad to see that POP made such a strong impression on you. I've written a lot of books, so I hope you'll seek out more of them and see what you think.

One point: Its interesting that you consider Charlie a suicide. Maybe. And maybe he just fell. I did try to leave the decision to the reader, and that's just the way you took it.

    Thanks again, Kevin.                                                                     -----Gordon Korman-----
