Does…. Does Chase  have NPD? I don’t know. I saw this theory once and a lot of Chase’s actions really coincide with the disorder. This was the article I saw that talked about it by the way.

To convince you that I had no such thing in mind while I was creating the character, I'm going to confess that I had to Google NPD because I'd never heard of it!

Narcissistic Personality Disorder. No. He was just thoughtless and mean, the way some people can be sometimes. Not every personality trait has a label, after all. And it would be too much of a coincidence that Aaron and Bear also had NPD. Nope. They were just jerks, the way some guys can be sometimes.

Hello! I’ve actually been wanting to talk because you’re my favorite author! I really love your work! Did you know, so I have obsessions a lot, but they only last about two to three months. When it was September of 2024 (when I was 11) my class started to read Restart, I was so intrigued by the story and the characters that I drew them in the way I thought they looked like and made some fan animations of them. That’s what usually happens when I have obsessions (minus the making designs part cause most obsessions already had a canon design) although, now that I’m 12 and it’s June now, what’s so amazing is that I’m still in my Restart/other Gordon Korman books! I also bought Unplugged, The Fort, WhatsHisFace, and Linked!! The way I post my animations is on YouTube (but I was scared to say it because you know how Chase x Shoshanna are a thing and how Brendan x Kimberly is also canon, um, I really hope you don’t hate me for this but uh, I ship Chase x Brendan because I think it’s quite cute, I headcanon them as gay, and I’m actually apart of that community) so uh yeah, the YouTube channel also the name I put. So uh, thank you for your time, and hopefully you don’t get weirded out by my videos because I am a very individual, and um, yeah. Ps. I’m trying to finish WhatsHisFace and Linked because I wasn’t able to finish them in the span of 4 days unlike Unplugged and The Fort where I did do that because school was really stressful, and I want to finish them so I can buy Snoop and the paper back of Old School when it’s in stock again.   :)
