I love your books.
As I read and reread both mixed up and restart, I made a connection. Or more of a theory.
Could Theo's dad be Arron or Bear.
I know there is a short time difference, but restart could be placed in a different time line, as the only technology mentioned was cameras which could be from an older time other than 2017.
Theo's dad's name is never mentioned.
Theo's dad claims to have ruled the school in middle school, so have arron and bear.
On page 31 of mixed up, Theo claims that "the only thing that his dad did with tomatoes was throw them at cars", his dad even bragged about it.
A big chuck of "splat night" was Arron and Bear throwing tomatoes at cars. And to me, it seems like Arron and Bear would brag about that.
Anyways, that's all the evidence I have right now.

Your qustion: The only connection between RESTART and MIXED UP is that they were both written by the same author -- me. I guess I find the same things funny and typical of a certain type of pre-teen athlete type. So in a way you're right -- there IS a connection, but it has nothing to do with the characters. It's just the way I portray certain people I write about.

Turns out that there are two connections between restart and mixed up. The first is that they are both written by you, and the second is that they both have the letter e in the title.
My teacher and I organized a trip to the Milton library to meet you.
