I know this is a big question, but maybe you can write a book for middle schoolers with a higher vocabulary? I know even though I love your books, I finish them in a day. A book with a higher vocabulary with the thematic elements of a middle school book would be amazing.

    Hi again, RN,

    Interesting point.

I've been told the opposite -- that some of my vocabulary and concepts are above middle grade capacity. I don't know your age, but you may be reading at a lower level than you should be. By definition, middle school books use a middle school appropriate vocabulary. I do have a list of Y/A novels. Just check out the BOOKS section of this website for the titles.                    --G--

Hey, don't apologize for being a good reader! It's too bad that the middle grade stuff doesn't seem to be enough for you.

I have a book called NO MORE DEAD DOGS that's classified as a Y/A. It's not a sentimental boy-meets-girl story like a lot of Y/As. Maybe you can find a copy and see what you think. Also THE JUVIE THREE and LOSING JOE'S PLACE. Maybe you have the wrong opinion of Y/A and I might be able to pen up a whole new genre for you. And maybe I'm wrong. (It wouldn't be the first time!)                                                                                                                                     --GK--
