    Dear Mr. Korman,

Your book Restart is fascinating. It’s so interesting how Chase Ambrose starts as a bully and loses his memory. It gave me such a laugh how Shoshanna poured frozen yogurt on Chase's head. And I love the nickname Alpha Rat. I got so inspired that I wrote a poem.

    When Memory Goes!

    By: Zohair

    Who am I?

    At least i’m still here

    How am I alive?

    But with quiet tears.

Did I fall into a coma?

I think I have memory loss.

    I’m getting claustrophobia.

Cause I feel like my head is being tossed.

Maybe I just need to rest.

    I may have amnesia.

This memory thing is definitely a threat.

    Do I even like pizza?

    Was I a good person?

    I am confused.

I think we need a nurse in.

I guess we'll see, but at least I'm not badly bruised.

I have a new life now.

But was my old one better?

Uh i’ll never know, wow (read in a sarcastic way)

    I just got a letter.

Soon my memory’s should come back to me!

Let us remember: Don’t let the suffering of amnesia make us forget who we truly are.

    Inspired by Gordan Korman’s Restart.

    Hope you like it.

I like it very much, Zohair! You have quite a knack for expressing yourself. And, actually, it poses another question, and that is:

Who was always the real Chase Ambrose, the new boy or the old one?

    Thanks for this!                                                                                                -----Gordon Korman-----
