AnnieHi,
my name is Annie and you are one of my favorite authors and I’ve read a ton of your books.
When my dad was young he said that you spoke at his school and he read This Can’t Be Happening At Macdonald Hall!
do you have any advice for young authors? I write a lot of short stories and I was wondering if I could have some advice. Also, what was your favorite book that you wrote? Mine is Masterminds. Thank you so much for your time!
-AnnieP.S. are you doing any book signings at bookstores in Manhattan, because I’d like to go to one
P.P.S. I think there should be a Masterminds movie? Has anyone talked about doing something like that?

I may not be gordon, but i think your ideas sound cool. have you ever published one? or are they private, just for the heck of it, stories? i really think you should try and make a book! even if it's a children's book. it could help you expand your creativity. also, maybe if you do consider publishing a story, consider an editor.
thats all!

Thanks for posting. I'm pleased that my MASTERMINDS series made such an impression on you. I hope you'll want to read your way right through all 105 of the books presently on my long list.
I honestly don't have a favorite among my books, but I'm very proud of the way MASTERMINDS turned out. Somehow I feel like I know the characters -- that happens sometimes in writing. If I have a favorite, it's always the current release. So I guess that makes my current "favorite" OLD SCHOOL.
Writing tips: write all the time -- stories, diaries, letters, lists -- anything that keeps you at it. And PLAN your work before you even start to write, so you can be writing TOWARD your ending. As a short story writer, I'll bet you know that already, right?
And check in with this website from time to time. You'll meet other aspiring authors, like my friend Marco. The exchange of ideas is always good for writers.
Best of luck to you! And say hi to Dad for me! -----Gordon Korman-----

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Samantha and I'm the Librarian at Glacier Middle School in WA State. I've recently begun the venture of acquiring signed book posters to hang in our library of authors whose books are very popular with our Middle School students. When I took over this position two years ago our library had a very corporate feel to it that has softened as I've hung posters, decorations and set an ambiance that makes our library one that our students want to spend time in. Thus far I have signed posters from Vanessa Torres, Erica Sage and will be acquiring a signed poster from K.R Alexander in late April.
Your books are a huge hit with our students, especially your book Restart. It's to the point that your popularity prompted me to order more books to put in our library and purchase second copies as your books are continuously being checked out.
As such, I'm inquiring as to if there is an address that I could send a book poster to (with a return prepaid shipping label) that you would be willing to sign to have you immortalized in our school library for years to come? I understand that you are very busy so if this isn't feasible please let me know.
I greatly appreciate your time. Thank you.
