Hi Gordon,

I hope you are doing well! I just wanted to write to you for a couple of reasons. For one thing, you take the time to answer your fan messages, which is incredibly kind and cool of you. For another, my fourth grade class and I are absolutely engrossed in Faker. This book is actually brand new to the class, including myself, which makes the experience of reading it so much sweeter.

Essentially, this is an appreciation post for your wonderful storytelling. You have this gift of being able to convey your stories so relatably to young readers in order to hook them! Faker has gotten every single one of my students engaged and invested. When I finish a chapter or stop for the day, my favorite thing to hear is, "ONE MORE CHAPTER!"

Is there anything better?! So, thank you very much for sharing your stories with the world and to students like mine. I can't wait to read more of your books!

Thank you for your very kind letter. I'm pleased to hear that FAKER is going over well with your class. As you can imagine, it was a lot of fun to write, too. It's a delight to me that the kids, and even the reader -- all are enjoying it. Hearing about "One more chapter!" is like hearing applause!

With the recent release of OLD SCHOOL, my booklist now numbers 105 titles, which is amazing, even to me. But if it's my stuff you want, you won't be running out of reading material any time soon.
