My name is Mandy Keziah, and I am the PR Chair for the North Carolina School Library Media Association.  We are an organization of over 1500 school librarians across the state of NC, and each October, we gather in person for our annual conference.  This year, our theme is “We Are Family,” and it’s the 25th anniversary of our organization.  If you know anything about libraries and the current state of public education, you know our jobs are more stressful than ever. We want to pamper our librarians, having them feel refreshed and appreciated when they leave our conference. As part of our conference, we give away door prizes.  This year, your book The Fort is on our Middle School Battle of the Books list.  Would you be willing to donate a virtual session that we could give to one of our librarians at our conference this year?  Our students love to meet the authors that write the books they love.  Thank you for your consideration, and I hope to hear from you soon!
