Dear Mr. Korman,

I hope you're doing well and that all your writing is going well! My name is Isabelle Knight, I'm a middle-grade fantasy author and book blogger, and I recently read several of your books, Ungifted and Unplugged, and I really loved them -- your writing is super fun to read, and the characters feel so real and all of them are super funny! I really love how you manage to create this setting that (though it's in the real world) wouldn't quite happen in the real world and yet manage to make it feel so real! It's one of the reasons I love your books! I've also read The Unteachables, and I really enjoyed that too! I think it's absolutely amazing that you've written over a hundred books! That is quite a feat - congratulations on that!

Anyway, I'm reaching out to ask if I could possibly interview you? I have a blog and YouTube channel where I chat a bit with middle-grade authors about their books, reading, what their writing process is like, and all that, and it's always amazing to get an insight into their process! Your books are so much fun and so well loved, and it would be amazing to be able to have you either on my blog or YouTube channel to do a brief interview! I understand you're likely incredibly busy, so it would be a brief one! Maybe a brief written interview on my blog (I think this would definitely be easiest) or a 15 minute video/phone/audio call interview?

As for the meaning of this message, I am a sixteen y/o author and blogger, and a lot of my readers would benefit and enjoy an interview with you. I would be so honored if I were to interview you, whether it be through email or through a short call. I think that my readers--many of them are young writers--would really love to hear encouragement and tips from an author who was published at such a young age!

The interview would be along the lines of your writing and publishing process, inspiration, and writing tips for teens.
