    Hi, Eli,

Thanks for posting and for your support for my books.

Favorite character? It's always the current release that has my favorite in it. e.g., Bruno & Boots were the first favorites, followed by Bugs Potter. When SNOOP is released on July 1st, my new favorite character will definitely be Carter Peregrine. Laughs guaranteed, and even some adventure and suspense.

Thanks for your interest.                                                                             -----Gordon Korman-----

hahaha 😅 but I have another question do you ever reuse names? I noticed in Schooled there was Mrs Donnelly and then in The fort there was Evan Donnelly but what about first names? Do you ever reuse those?

Bruno and Boots were good, I can not argue with that, but I have yet to encounter a character in any book who can top Rudy Miller. Add in his buddy Mike Webster and nemesis Harold Green, and do not forget bunk counselor Chip...Miller!

I am an English teacher with 25 years under my belt. For most of my colleagues, "Do you have one favorite book?" would be a daunting question. For me, I do not have to think twice. I Want to Go Home has been and remains my favorite book since I was in the 6th grade (and I am near 50).

It is my greatest joy that my daughter got to meet you once when you came to her school. I only wish I could have been there to shake your hand.

I teach 9th grade literature, and I continue to stock my shelves with your books, and my students continue to love your writing.

Thanks for all you have done, for me, for my students, and for literature.

Jade likes Rootbeer Racinette! Why didn't I know she would? (Do you know his name is Rootbeer Rootbeer?)      -G-

Eli, if I reuse a name, I hope I can be forgiven for forgetting I already used it! 105 is a lot of books. It's hard to keep track!  -G-

And Joe, who has been keeping Rudy Miller in front of audiences for some 30 years -- I owe you most of all!   -G-
