Gord! I think it just clicked. Writing. Becoming an author. It just hit me, after five years of being serious about this, that writing is an art. I know every writer has a different journey, but for me? It is an art. I just realized that I've got to stop applying every single person's advice to myself to make my art. At that point, it's theirs! I can't keep crushing my passions and my skills to try and be like everyone else. At that point, it might as well not "be" creative writing. Regurgitated writing. Old writing. Recycled writing. No, I've got to do my own thing and believe in myself. Find what I value and do what I want. Crazy, right?

I think I feel my love for writing returning!

You an't know how pleased I am to read what you just wrote to me! You've had an epiphany! Maybe even a rebirth! It happens to really creative people exactly that way. In plain talk, you've got your mojo back! Yes, there are your studies, your plans for the future, the things that are a part of growing into adulthood. But you are always going to be you, and that's a good thing!

Yay! Yes, I did! I sure hope so. I'm glad it happened to me! Thank you so much! Today just keeps bringing good news. I got my first paycheck from my legal internship and I am going to pre-order SNOOP today!
