Allyson FullerHi, this is Allyson.
I have written to you before but I have another question. I know this might sound crazy but I am going to publish my book (once I finish it) and I was wondering if you wanted to read it! I feel like it would be super cool for a well-known author to read a book written by a 9th grader! Would you do that for me? I found a title and your advice really helped me. It’s going to be called “Endless Lies”. Oh, also, I think it is going to be a duology, so if you read the first one, you’ll have to read the next one! The only thing is I need to focus on like editing the first one to perfection but then I want to finish the 2nd book before I publish the 1st one, do you have any advice for that?
Sorry, if this is a lot, but I have a lot on my mind.
Thank you so much!

Thanks for posting. I'm glad to have an update on you and your writing. Congratulations! I'm glad my advice was of some help to you.
Your request: I have had to make it my policy not to read other people's work, Allyson. I get so many requests that, if I fufilled them all, I would spend my time doing other people's work and not my own. So I'm afraid I have to say no. But I can tell you that your plan to "edit to perfection" is bang on! That's exactly what you have to do. When you hand a manuscript in, it has to be as perfect as you can possibly make it.
I wish you all kinds of good luck with your work! -----Gordon Korman-----
