I am 52 years old - it is hard for me to fathom. I grew up in Ontario, Canada, and became a fan of Gordon Korman books when I read "This Can't Be Happening at Macdonald Hall" and "I Want To Go Home!". I didn't get brand-new books often, but I still have those books in a tote containing my few childhood favorites left. My 10 year old son, who I have given too much screentime, came home from school last year talking about a book he thoroughly enjoyed that was recommended by a beloved teacher. To my shock, it was a Gordon Korman book. I was delighted to catch up and realize that Gordon Korman was no longer my childhood Canadian secret, but now a worldwide phenomenon to millions including my sweet son, Ozzy! He was begging to continue reading "Snoop" for just a few minutes longer before bed last night, and when I came downstairs this morning, to my surprise, his iPad had been traded for this incredible book once again. I just went to your website to see if I could somehow take him to an author event to get an autograph. We are near-ish to Greenwood, Indiana. Are you doing any public events while you are in town? It would be an honor and thrill to meet my childhood hero...and now Ozzy's hero, as well.

Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to hear that I have a new fan and that I seem to have kept the long-ago one. There have been a few (104) books between the first two and SNOOP.

Re: Greenwood. So far, there are no public events, but that will change if there happens to be a bookseller that gets wind of the visit. However, you might appeal to one of the schools to allow you and Ozzy to sit in on their session. I have no control over that, but it has happened in a lot of cities.
